CV

Camilla Birkeland is a Norwegian artist, curator and cultural leader. She currently works as the director of Kunstmuseet Nord-Trøndelag (Art Museum North Trøndelag). She was a member of the Directorial Team of Prodigy Exhibitions (Los Angeles, USA) and the director of the Queensland Centre for Photography (Brisbane, Australia). She was educated at Queensland College of Art Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia 2000-2005 and has since worked as an artist, curator, designer and arts manager.

Birkeland works with installation, sculpture, drawing, video and photography, exploring architecture and space.
